1. Role as Data Processor
Digio Gram ERP acts as a Data Processor. The educational institution (the "Tenant") is the Data Controller. We process information solely on the instructions of the institution and do not own the data uploaded to the platform.
2. Information We Collect
On behalf of the institution, we process:
- Student Data: Names, photographs, academic records, attendance, and health information.
- Guardian Data: Contact information, identification numbers, and payment details for fee collection.
- Staff Data: Professional records, payroll details, and login credentials.
- Financial Data: Transaction IDs and payment statuses processed via integrated gateways.
3. Use of Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session and provide secure access to your dashboard. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies for logged-in users.
4. Third-Party Sub-processors
We partner with industry-leading infrastructure providers to deliver our services securely:
- Infrastructure: Vercel & Supabase (AWS/Google Cloud Regions)
- Payments: Razorpay (PCI-DSS Level 1 Compliant)
- Notifications: Twilio & WhatsApp Business API
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain institutional data as long as the subscription is active. Upon termination, institutions have 30 days to export their data, after which it is permanently purged from our active databases within 60 days, except as required by law for financial auditing.
6. Compliance with Indian Laws
Our privacy practices are designed to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Actof India and international best practices for educational technology.
